I looked at more expensive options and decided to give this a try since it was so cheap. I just moved into a new apartment and used it to hang all of my artwork and anchor bookshelves. It worked really well, and I'm glad I didn't spend any more!

I have used multiple ultrasonic stud finders with very mixed results. I live in an older house, and sometimes finding a stud is quite a challenge. When I saw this product, I was hopeful that it would be a good solution. Finding a stud with this product requires a lot of sweeping back and forth, to find a nail. Rating: - Best for the Money
Local superstores (Lowes and Home Depot) don't carry this product any more since it's so cheap. But it doesn't require batteries, it works flawlessly, and did I say it doesn't require batteries?
Rating: - Magnetic stud finder is excellent
Excellent product especially for the money. While comparable instruments can cost twenty times as much, this little unit never fails. It's a stud.
Rating: - Simply does not perform its intended task
Be forewarned: This product does not find studs in plaster walls, period. It might be a five star product for paneling however. I can't really say. Hope I deterred some from a wasted purchase.
